The Brittany
Company Installs Amada Quattro Laser Cutting Technology
The
Brittany Company has added a 2,000W Amada Quattro Laser cutting machine to our facility. The Quattro Laser is a completely new design combining the latest developments in machine, Computer Numerical Control and laser resonator technologies. The Quattro Laser features:
- A Compact Design - Flying optics laser with integrated structure (Oscillator, power supply, computer numerical control and processing table).
- A 2,000 watt laser source that can cut ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including up to 0.500” carbon steel.

Company Installs the Latest in Forming Technology
The
Brittany Company has added the latest Servo Electric press brake technology to
our shop! The Toyokoki APB-3613W is a 40-ton precision press brake with
6-axis CNC control. Ram repetition accuracy is +/- 0.00004 in (± 0.001 mm)! The
machine is also equiped with automatic thickness sensing which compensates for
variations in material thickness. This results in the upmost in part-to-part
accuracy!
Expanding our
Capacity
We have
expanded our capabilities in our CNC turret punching department by adding an additional Murata Turret Punch to our punching department. Our new machine more than doubles our
capacity to punch parts. These versatile machines punch over 300 hits per
minute with up to 22 tons of force and can handle parts up to 48" x 82" x 1/4" thick. Two Auto-Indexing stations and a Multi-Tool station allow for infinite tool angle settings and faster setup times, allowing us to make our customers parts faster.
Tooling
For over 45
years, The Brittany Company has been serving the sheet metal fabricating needs
of Connecticut and New England. We provide finished precision sheet metal parts
for the medical, industrial, military, communications, and aerospace industries.
To keep up with our customer's needs, we are always adding to our tooling
inventory. We have many of the specialty tools for punching and forming
electronic connector and switch holes for our customer's electronic components.
We have tooling for forming louvers and countersinks. We also have an extensive
inventory of press brake tooling for forming virtually any shape, radius, or
part. By already having many of these tools in stock, we can often quote your
parts WITHOUT EXTRA TOOLING COSTS!
